FRESH FRUIT Comes to Croton's Down to Earth Farmers Market this Sunday, 7/21

Attention all local food lovers of Croton:

Join us this Sunday, July 21st, to welcome Alex's Tomato Farm to Croton's Down to Earth Farmers Market!

Alex named his farm in honor of his father's dedication to growing greenhouse tomatoes in the Ukraine. Today, Alex's Tomato Farm grows a great range of produce in Sprakers, NY, including delicious fruits for Croton. This week, he'll bring berries, currants, peaches, plums, apples, and more.

He joins a roster of top-quality farmers and food producers who already enjoy serving the Croton community every Sunday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. They include:

Baked by Susan
Croton's hometown hero makes the most delicious baked goods around. Just ask Westchester Magazine - they declared her cinnamon buns the "Best of Westchester".

Dr. Pickle
Three generations in the making, they bring pickles marinated by time and family tradition.

John D. Madura Farms
Expert farmers who stack their tables high with bountiful, seasonal produce...and several mushroom varieties.

Pika's Farm Table
Fresh prepared foods to go, including hot waffles for breakfast.

Rexcroft Farm
A seventh-generation farm in Athens, NY, they grow food and raise animals with great care for the environment and its living beings.

The market runs every Sunday, from May 26 - November 24, 2013. (Farmers Market Nutrition Program available from June 1 – November 30).

We're located in the parking lot on Municipal Place, off of the Route 9 exit.
