Calling all Knitters & Spinners! Alpacatrax at Croton Farmers Market this Sunday

This Sunday at Croton's Down to Earth Farmers Market, we welcome Alpacatrax.

In their own words: Alpacatrax will have a wonderful selection of 100% alpaca fleece, roving, yarns, and finished product for wear or inspiration from our spring 2013 shearing. Come experience the look and touch of Alpacatrax textures, including natural colors of beautifully-blended yarns to choose from for your knitting, weaving or felting projects.

Alpacatrax comes to you with a message to purchase not only edibles from local sources including the Hudson Valley, but also wearables and fiber products. Alpacatrax yarns are 100% alpaca using fleeces raised in the Hudson Valley, with all natural colors in the grays, browns, tweeds and vanilla and blacks including bay black. From their cormo sheep, 70% alpaca-30% cormo sheep wool yarns are available in selected colors. 100% cormo natural color sport weight yarns are also available and wonderful to use for your dyeing projects. Finished product including fingerless mitts, baby blankets, men's and women's scarves, shawls, sofa throw's, cowls, boot inserts and heavy outdoor socks, will also be available. AND experience their 100% alpaca duvet inserts!
