The fireworks for the 35th Annual St. Augustine Italian Festival have been moved to Sunday. The festival, which runs through Sunday night, is on the grounds of the church. Croton-on-Hudson's will be closed today because a tree fell in the swimming area. Officials say they are working on removing the tree. They hope to reopen Silver Lake as soon as possible.

Miriam and Mike Risko, of Ossining's , were presented with a $1,000 check yesterday afternoon. The Riskos were the proud winners of the rotary club's duck race. Miriam tells Patch that her plan is to take the $1,000 she won and spend it in Ossining, so she can put the money back into the community. You can see a picture of the check presentation to the right of this column.
