Sal Ruggiero of Mahopac is a 27-year Con Edison veteran whose colleagues suggested he wear a hat until they can go back to work. He chose a fedora.
Sal installs fiber optic and other types of transmission lines above and below ground. He says working overtime helped him put three kids through college simultaneously, a cost he estimates at one-half million bucks.
I see Sal regularly at the gym we both frequent several mornings a week.Sal Ruggiero has worked 27-years for Con Edison, and is wearing that fedora until he returns to work. He's a fitness demon and would (and should) be the role model of anyone in our age group who's serious about living the motto I go by: "The older I get, the older I want to get." Sal does things -- unaided by supplements or the like -- that I only can marvel at.
