If Facebook started charging its users rent, like a landlord, would you still use it? Would you use it as much as you do now? Do you use it at all?
It's gotten to the point there are two types of people in the world: Those who use Facebook and those who have a life.
For FB fans and fanatics (the first is just an abbreviation of the latter, but we don't think of them as synonymous, do we?), not just their face but their life becomes an open book.
"I wonder what I'll do today" is not so much an exaggeration or parody of some posts, but close to an exact replica. In terms of branding, (The) Facebook is an inspired portmanteau (merging of two words to coin a new one), but The Zuck could just as easily branded his brainchild Lookatme or Thinkingoutloud, though neither would have quite the same ring of concision and force of impact.
