Juliet, Chekhov, 1984: see free, innovative theater July 23 and 24 at Harbor Square.

Momentum Theatre Troupe will be performing at Harbor Square, in Ossining, at 6pm on July 23 and 24.

Momentum Theatre Troupe is dedicated to bringing bold, innovative, and challenging theatre to as diverse an audience as possible with their traveling stage-truck and internationally-trained ensemble of teaching theatre professionals.

They take to the road to celebrate the diversity of community, create accessible art, and to inspire others to reach yet undiscovered imaginative heights.

Their performance and teaching history stretches all the way from Bar Harbor, ME to Chicago, IL.

Their summer 2014 repertoire includes Juliet and her Romeo, their own reworking of the Shakespeare classic; Chekhov's one-act The Proposal; and an original piece inspired by Orwell's 1984. These final two pieces will be directed by guest directors Ryan Collins and Malik Rumeau respectively.

MTT is very excited to be offering a performance at Harbor Square, Westerly Road, Ossining where they will be performing all three shows of their Summer 2014 repertoire. Performances will take place on Wednesday, July 23rd and Thursday, July 24th at 6:00 p.m. and are free of charge and open to the public.
