Ossining's Kitchawan Farms Gets New Children's Program

A Cortland-based company will be spearheading a new education program at Kitchawan Farms.

Ossining's Kitchawan Farm will be home to a new nutrition and sustainable agriculture program for school children. The Journal News is reporting that the program was created by Barbara Sarbin, founder of Cortland Manor-based Something Good in the World Inc. Sarbin has already been spearheading the program at Hilltop Hanover Farm.

The new program will give students, like those at Cardinal McCloskey's Hayden House, an opportunity to learn about eating right and farming.
