The Christian Federico Memorial Wall has gone up at Ossining High School.
Federico, a star athlete at OHS (captain of the baseball team and a varsity football player) died in 2010. He collapsed while jogging near the University of Maryland campus, where he was a sophomore.
At the time, Ossining baseball coach Bill Casey told lohud.com blogger Jake Thomases that Federico had been one of the most respected athletes in program history and the hardest working kid he’d ever seen.
