Fundraiser at the Black Cow: Help Volunteers Build a School in Dominican Republic

Open Mic Night March 1 will raise money for Croton Bridges' upcoming trip.

Croton Bridges is sending 15 students and three adults March 23 on a mission trip to Dominican Republic, living and working with families in a small village to help build a school.

The volunteers are working through Bridges to Community, a non-profit community development organization that takes groups around the world to help folks better their shelter, education, health care and nutrition.

The teens and their families and friends are holding a fundraiser at the Black Cow March 1 to help meet their goal of $36,000.
