Maple Sugaring Scout Day

Bring your scout group to Teatown to discover the maple sugaring process from tap to syrup. Through a historical, interactive journey, each scout group will view the evolution of tapping a maple tree, collecting sap and processing maple syrup. The basic principles of tree identification and forest stewardship will also be explored. Parts of the Forestry Badge, Forester Badge and the Food, Fibers and Farming Patch will be covered.

Fee: $5 per scout and extra siblings; scout leaders and chaperones are free.
