On Ossining-Croton Patch: Ossining Housing Settlement Update

Many of us who have been involved in the issues surrounding affordable housing were surprised when James Johnson, the appointed monitor who acts as an intermediary between Westchester County and the Federal government for the 2009 Affordable Housing Settlement, indicated in his preliminary zoning analysis that the Town of Ossining was one of six communities in Westchester that might have some zoning codes that could be impeding affordable housing.
