Sunday, June 30th: Croton's Down to Earth Farmers Market

QUALITY local food: Find it at Croton's Down to Earth Farmers Market, now on Sundays!

Every week, John D. Madura Farms brings fresh, seasonal produce to Croton. His farm stand changes as the weeks go by and the new harvests come in. These days, he has salad greens, summer squash, a wide variety of mushrooms, peas, and much more!

He is joined by a brand new vendor to Croton, Rexcroft Farm from Athens, New York. In addition to a beautiful selection of produce, they have pasture-raised meat and poultry. And eggs! As Deborah Madison write in the foreword to her book, Vegetable Literacy, "A good, fresh egg is an amazing food, a nutritious one, and a delicious one as well." Agreed.

The Croton market also has delicious prepared foods by Pika's Farm Table, a wide range of pickles from Dr. Pickle, and fantastic baked goods from Baked by Susan. Her cinnamon rolls were recently named "The Best of Westchester" by Westchester Magazine.

Thank you for supporting local farms and food businesses!
