Pet Memory Garden

To the Editor:

My name is Kiara Curtin and I am a sixteen year old Ambassador Girl Scout in troop 1244, led by Kathy Vogel, in Croton-on-Hudson.  I am currently working with Regina Hertl on the highest award in Girl Scouting, the Gold Award.  My Gold Award project is named "Pet Memory Garden" and involved the creation of an advertising program for veterinarian offices and retail stores. This program advertises the memory garden I expanded and allows grieving pet owners to scatter their pets ashes at the SPCA of Westchester located at 590 North State Road in Briarcliff Manor, NY.  Pet owners are invited to visit the memory garden, and SPCA as well, where they can visit pets available for adoption.  I encourage everyone to learn more about the SPCA by visiting their Facebook Page at this link;  https://www.facebook.com/LisaAnneBonanno?ref=hl

I also encourage everyone to visit the beautiful pet memory garden where flowers will continue to bloom throughout the year.
