Help Find Mya, A Lost Puppy from Montrose

Montrose, N.Y. -- Mya, a 4-month-old golden retriever from Montrose has been missing since this past weekend, Saturday, June 7th.

Mya was on a leash when she bolted after being frightened by the loud sounds of the parade her owner was attending. She was chased after for quite a while, but with no luck in stopping her.

Mya and her parents live in Maryland but were home visiting family members who live in Montrose. The family, friends and community have concentrated their search to surrounding areas including Buchanan, Verplanck and some of Croton

The family has made a giant outreach to the community, posting fliers, spreading the word by mouth and creating a Facebook page called “Bring Mya Home”.  Her posts have been shared numerous times over all social media outlets. Mya has also been on News Channel 12.

There is a reward to anyone who finds her. In the event that Mya is found, please contact Kay Snyder by telephone at 914-874-7111.
