Croton Fire Fair this Sunday

From Chief John Munson:

The Croton-on-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department's annual "Fire Fair" is this Sunday!

Fire Fair is held every year in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week, which also starts on Sunday.  This year's focus is on Kitchen Fire Safety.

This event is open to the residents - young & old - of Croton and the Croton-Harmon School District, and will be held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at our Harmon Firehouse (corner of Benedict Blvd. & Wayne St.).

Fire fair features fire safety "stations" for children and adults to complete, and those that complete the stations will receive a fire truck ride around the neighborhood!

A local fire safety business will be on hand to sell home fire safety equipment; including smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, flashlights and more.

Also, we have magic shows, a fire truck slide, fire extinguisher demonstrations, refreshments (provided by ShopRite in Croton) and so much more!

So come on by, learn about fire safety, meet the members of your Croton Fire Department & have a great time!
