CPC Relocates Hudson Valley Office to the Village of Ossining

The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC), a leading mortgage lender for multi-family affordable housing in New York State, today celebrated the relocation of its new Hudson Valley office in the Village of Ossining. The office will continue to draw on its 40 years of experience creating affordable housing and revitalizing downtowns to stimulate economic development and investment in Westchester and Hudson Valley.

CPC’s office is located at 2 Church Street, close to U.S. Route 9 and landmarks such as Ossining High School. Doug Olcott, Senior Vice President and Director of CPC's Hudson Valley Region, who has been with CPC for more than 20 years, will continue to lead the office.

“CPC is dedicated to investing in downtown districts across New York State, and what better way to do so than to set up our Hudson Valley office in the heart of Downtown Ossining,” said Rafael E. Cestero, President and CEO, The Community Preservation Corporation. “The Hudson Valley office will continue to invest in our neighborhoods to create stronger, economically viable communities and to make Ossining and the greater Hudson Valley region a better place to live and work. We thank the Village of Ossining for its warm welcome and look forward to contributing to Ossining’s community.”

“As we experience the renaissance of economic development and especially our historic downtown, there is no more appropriate venue than the Village's core for the base of operations of CPC,” said William R. Hanauer, Mayor, Village of Ossining. “The Village of Ossining, where housing for all levels of affordability is both our goal for the future and our reality of the present, enthusiastically welcomes CPC. We look forward to a new, mutually beneficial relationship.”

“I am so pleased to welcome CPC to Ossining. Ever since 1989, you have done a wonderful job supporting the development and preservation of affordable housing in the Hudson Valley. The thousands of units you have financed have stabilized neighborhoods, strengthened communities, and made the Hudson Valley a more vibrant place to live. You couldn’t have chosen a better location for your expanded reach than Ossining with its long tradition of support for affordable housing. I am so happy to call you neighbor here at 2 Church Street and look forward to a continued productive relationship,” said Assemblywoman Sandy Galef.
