Assemblywoman Sandy Galef announces that four debates have been scheduled to discuss the issues important to the residents and voters of the 95th Assembly District.
Galef will be participating in each of these events.
The schedule for debates:
Thursday, September 27 – Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and Putnam County
League of Women Voters – Brewster – (Time and Location to be determined)
Thursday, October 4 – The Examiner – 8 pm – To be taped in Pleasantville
Monday, October 22 – Putnam County News and Recorder – 7 pm Haldane High School
Monday, October 29 – Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce – 7 pm Ossining Community Center
Galef stated that, “As a former President of the League of Women Voters, I strongly believe in the importance of having debates when candidates are running for office but I also believe that these debates must be sponsored by organizations and press with a record of providing equal and fair treatment for each of the candidates. I look forward to discussing the issues, challenges, and opportunities that we face in New York State and the Hudson Valley, and how we can continue to partner with Governor Cuomo to build on the successes of the last two years.”
The 95th Assembly District includes the Towns of Cortlandt, Kent, Ossining, Philipstown and the City of Peekskill.
