I attended that Planning Board meeting and was cheered to hear a Planning Board member mention that Read Morenow that spring is here and the ground has thawed, a more definitive map of the wetland areas could more accurately be prepared. Also, when the developer allows the Town of Ossining EAC to walk the property, they will be able to make a more definitive assessment of the property. Their initial report is based on the developer's incomplete application. But once the developer allows access to the property and once he completes his application, a more precise and accurate assessment will benefit the community in that a more thorough environmental assessment will be available to everyone. It is disconcerting that both consultants for the Town (planning and engineering) seem to beRead Moreunconce rned about the environmental issues raised by both the EAC and the residents. The planner is willing to "float" a number of houses out there and narrow it down later. I thought that the applicants 1st have to prove that 24 lots are viable. With basins in steep slopes and houses placed over the aqueduct, how is that possible. Thanks to Howard for recording this. Wendy Masserman
