Police Chase Wanted Man on Ossining Streets

Seven Village of Ossining Police officers chased down a wanted man on North Malcolm Street.

Ossining's Finest had to chase down a wanted man in the middle of the afternoon. Investigators say Officers Joseph Spinelli and Anthony Stovall spotted 22-year-old Timothy Bryant on Snowden Avenue around 2:15 p.m. The two officers tried to detain Bryant, but he took off running.

The Yonkers man led Ossining Police on a chase that involved a total of seven officers. Police say Bryant jumped a fence near the Victoria Home on North Malcolm Avenue, which is where police eventually caught up with him.

Officers had detained Bryant, but investigators say he still didn't give up—trying to run away a second time. That's when Ossining Police Sargent Damiano tasered the Yonkers man. Investigators then took Bryant into custody.

The 22-year-old later complained of chest pains. He was treated at Phelps and then he was taken to the Westchester County Jail.

Authorities say Bryant was wanted by the NYPD for forgery. In addition to the forgery charge, the Yonkers man now faces a resisting arrest charge in connection with the September 7 chase through the streets of Ossining.
